Bois Royal Bordeaux

Famous in Saint-Emilion and Libourne area, Merlot transmits particular aromas to its wines. Except Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellations, the Union de Producteurs de Saint-Emilion produces wines from neighbour appellations but still around Merlot.

🍇 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet franc

🍷 A fruit-forward powerhouse of a wine with plushness at its core. It errs on the side of ‘easy going’ for Bordeaux, which can at times present a little rigid and stuffy. 
Aromas of plum and blackcurrant enhanced with notes of walnut shell, spice box and chocolate orange. Some notes of wet stone. Medium-bodied. A polished and refined wine with very fine tannins. Delicate fruity notes, a hint of blue flower and a lively finish.

Enjoy

Red meats such as beef, lam, and duck. At the end of the meal, it also shines with aged cheeses like Camembert or Vacherin, as well as chocolate desserts.
